Zeiss 85mm F 1.4 ZF-2 Planar T* F/Nikon Manual Focus F Mount 1767-826
ZSL7826 This short telephoto is a classic portrait focal length which is further enhanced by the long barrel rotation for precise control of the focus point in the image. The Planar T* 1,4/85 is optimized for medium to longer distances and provides distortion-free performance, which only improves as the lens is stopped down. The fast f/1.4 aperture is very useful for creatively controlling the depth of field and the nearly circular diaphragm creates a pleasing ‘bokeh’ in the out-of-focus areas. The Planar T* 1,4/85 is designed for use with full-frame SLR and DSLR cameras. Combined with a DSLR with a 1.5 crop factor, the lens becomes a focal length of 128 mm.

Zeiss 85mm F 1.4 ZF-2 Planar T* F/Nikon Manual Focus F Mount 1767-826
ZF.2 lenses support all key modes (e.g. aperture priority, shutterpriority, program AE or manual exposure settings) on camera models equipped with an electronic interface (e.g. current Nikon DSLR cameras). To do so, simply lock the aperture ring in the largest f-stop (e.g. 16) shown in orange. On camera models without an electronic interface, the aperture is manually set on the lens aperture ring. With some camera models, it is possible to set in the menu whether the lens should be selected using the setting dial on the camera or the aperture ring on the lens. Please note that, for technical reasons, there is no halfway notch between the largest (e.g. 16) and second largest (e.g. 11) f-stop.The focused distance is not transmitted to the camera body.
