Think Tank Photo Skin 75 Pop Down 043
TTA1061
- holds larger lens such as the 70-200 2.8 with hood reversed
|
Overview
Unique case holds larger lens such as the 70-200 2.8 with hood reversed, or “pop-down” for hood in position.
Features
Holds a 70–200 f2.8 with hood attached in shooting position
Open the Pop Down zipper at the bottom of the bag to carry a 70–200 f2.8 with lens hood in position
Unpadded, flexible and compressible, Skin components nearly flatten for easier packing.
The "Sound Silencer" (shown in the "OFF" position) underneath the front flap eliminates hook-and-loop tearing noises. During weddings and some concerts, for example, loud noises may be frowned upon but a photographer still needs to access gear. The Sound Silencer still allows the flap to cover the top of the bag but prevents the hook-and-loop from contacting, to eliminate noise.
The "Sound Silencer" (shown in the "ON" position) underneath the front flap eliminates hook-and-loop tearing noises. During weddings and some concerts, for example, loud noises may be frowned upon but a photographer still needs to access gear. The Sound Silencer still allows the flap to cover the top of the bag but prevents the hook-and-loop from contacting, to eliminate noise.
Removable interior divider (included) can be used to convert the Skin 75 Pop Down into a utility bag for accessories.
Components can "Rotate or Lock" on the belt. To rotate, place the white plastic tang behind the belt while attaching the component. Rotating the component prevents the weight of the equipment from creating a pressure point on the hip by being stationary for an extended time. Also, moving the component to a different place on the belt allows a photographer to assume a different position such as kneeling, bracing against a wall, or lying prone without damaging gear. If locking the component in position is preferred, slide the plastic tang down into the fabric loop on the belt or rail while attaching the component. This prevents the component from sliding along the belt.
Attaches to all Think Tank belts, harnesses and belt packs.
Zippered front pocket on the flap for small accessories.
A lockable elastic drawstring closes the top of the bag. This can be used with, or in place of, the hook-and-loop flap to secure the lens in the bag.
An interior pocket keeps more accessories like a hand-held radio, lens cap, etc.
The pair of webbing loops at the top of the bag are strap attachment points, for converting a Skin component into a small shoulder bag. For the least amount of bulkiness, the Camera Strap V2.0, is an even lighter weight alternative to using the Thin Skin Belt V2.0.
A seam-sealed rain cover is included to cover the bag for protection against harsh elements.
