Overview 

This is a high magnification zoom lens that Tamron, a pioneer of high magnification zoom lenses, has developed for use with the "E-mount" used for the Sony mirrorless interchangeable-lens camera series. We utilized all of our strengths of development technology for a high magnification zoom lens we have built up for 19 years to realize the lens that provide a high picture quality as well as lightness and compactness with a filter size of 62mm and a weight of 460g. Furthermore, the lens has a stylish exterior that fits the design of the Sony mirrorless interchangeable-lens camera series and is available in two colors (black and silver). This is a highly versatile lens that we can use in various situations, such as taking daily snapshots and capturing scenes while travelling.

* This lens is not designed for use with digital single-lens reflex cameras equipped with a mirror box, or single-lens reflex 35mm film cameras.

* This lens was developed, manufactured and will be sold based on the specifications for the E-mount that was disclosed by Sony Corporation under Tamron's license agreement with Sony Corporation.
