Quality Price Value I was convinced by a friend to purchase this lens after seeing photos he took in low light with it. Ever since I bought my D5000 I thought having a good zoom was the most important thing until I used this lens. Shooting indoors has never been easier! I wish it had a little bit better build, but it is very sharp at apertures my other lenses don't even have as an option. (Posted on 5/11/10)

Price Value Quality I purchased this lens last summer and haven't taken it off of my D3000. For the price of this lens you can't beat the quality. It's so much sharper and faster then the kit lens. I don't mind sacrificing the zoom capability of the kit lens for the speed of this little guy. It lets in about 4x as much light! Highly recommended for anyone who shoots Nikon DX.
