I love the 210, but the only drawback is that
most often the indoor pictures of people's faces
are too bright. Especially when shooting about
5 feet away. I tried covering the flash a little,
but it still doesn't help. But I still love it.

I haveowned the Instax full sized series since the model 100. I bought the model 200 several years ago and last month bought the model 210 because of the included close-up lens. Several years ago I acquired the model 500 which is quite rare and has auto-focus as its primary advantage. In 2000, I purchased the Mini 10 and later the Mini 7.
All function perfectly producing high quality, bright and contrasty photos. Thanks ?Fuji. (Posted on 6/23/10)

I love my Instax camera. It makes me smile. It makes everyone smile. The colors are vivid, the sharpness better than my beloved SX70, and the price of the film is quite reasonable. Just today we went around historic and funky Maynard MA with it and got some good ones! Fuji has had this for a while, but we haven't and are just getting to realize how good it is. We encourage its use along with any of the new non-polaroid instant films and are glad it is being marketed well.

Being I'm a Polaroid enthusiast, I'm was pretty bummed hearing that Polaroid stopped making film. However, Fuji comes around to save the day with their Instax camera and film. I decided to give it a try and I'm sure glad I did. I do not mean to say anything to demean Polaroid but Fuji produces much clearer, sharper pictures. I'm extremely happy :) (Posted on 3/15/10)

I brought this camera to a st. patty's day party and people could not get enough of it! People were skeptical at first, but then got really excited once they realized it took instant pictures. A group of us stood around for literally an hour just taking pictures. The best part is the price! (Posted on 3/8/10)

I had this camera for about 2 weeks now and I cant get enough. I'm addicted. Being its a sunny day here on the east coast, I took my pug, Buttons, and my 210 to the local dog park and shot some instant pictures. Every picture came out beautifully. No lines, no darkness. Just clear, amazing Polaroid-looking pictures :) I handed out some shots of other dogs to their owners and they were so happy. I swear I just made about 10 peoples day just by handing them an instant picture of their dog looking happy and playing in the sun. (Posted on 3/6/10)

This may sound biased but I am glad Polaroid film is gone. I bought this Instax 210 camera from Unique Photo who was the cheapest price not only on the camera but the film and they delivered immediately and I am saving a fortune!
I cant believe that Polaroid had the nerve to sell their crap film for so much money!!!
GO Fuji Thank you Sean! (Posted on 2/19/10)

This camera is what the Polaroid camera wants to be when it grows up. Pics have greater color and look very charp. The wide format really captures everything you want. Camera is easy to use and ready to go out of the box. (Posted on 12/26/09)

As a professional traveling Santa for 33 years now, nothing will touch the excellent quality and value of the now extinct Polaroid 600 instant camera. Believe it or not, I've been using the same Polaroid 600 for all those years and nothing ever came along to tempt me to upgrade since it worked perfectly and the durable pictures lasted forever. However, with leftover expired Polaroid Film now reaching over $30 per roll where available, I was forced to look elsewhere and was happy to discover the Fuji Instax 210. After giving my "elf" 5 minutes of instruction on how to load the film, power on the camera, turn on the flash each time, center the subject, and push the large shutter release to take the pic, she successfully took about 90 photos in about 90 minutes at the Xmas Party without a problem using 4 fresh AA alkaline batteries. I would definitely recommend this camera system to anyone like me needing instant prints on the spot. However, as a camera buff, I have to critique this camera against the former Polaroids in hope that Fuji might make some improvements on the next model. For starters, the camera is bit bulky for small female hands and definitely heavier than the Polaroid family, but has a comfortable grip and easy shutter release. Considering the trouble they went through to install a digital control panel and motorized lens upon powering up, it's incredible that they couldn't build in the closeup lens instead of providing the very awkward and primitive snap-on lens that no one will carry or use. The fill-in flash works great but has to be turned on everytime you power up the camera again after a film change. The high speed film will help you through moments when you forget to turn the flash on, but an auto sensor would be appreciated to fill in as needed. What is most irritating is that unlike the Polaroids that conditioned us to expect the film cover to auto eject upon closing the camera back, you must manually push the shutter button to eject the plastic cover before you can shoot pics. The motor is there, the tradition of auto ejection of the film pack cover should have been continued. Lastly, although the ultimate color and picture quality is good, the Fuji instant prints develop slower than the old Polaroids ( at least it seemed so to us) and the print has some sort of wrinkly cellophane on the back and does not appear to have the ridgid durability of an old Polaroid print. Perhaps all these standard features that I've come to love over 30 years are patent protected by Polaroid and thus not possible on the Fuji, but if they are not, I hope to see these improvements on the next generation of instant Fuji cameras. For the same price of 4 600 films, you can get a instax camera and 4 films.
